MUARA, Tuesday, 5 June 2018 – The handing over ceremony for the Chief of Staff of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) between the outgoing Chief of Staff, Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN and the incoming Chief of Staff, Commander Shahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN.
The event started off with outgoing remarks from the outgoing Chief of Staff followed with the signing of the handing over letter of Chief of Staff. The event was concluded with the recital of prayer by Lieutenant Junior Grade Md Khairul Fadzillah bin Roslan, RBN.
Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman served his tour as the Chief of Staff RBN starting from 20 July 2016 to 28 May 2018. During his service as Chief of Staff, he chaired a number of Naval Working Group meetings and was also the co-chairman for the Exclusive Economic Zone course which was held for the first time in Brunei Darussalam co-hosted with British High Commissions.
Also in the attendance to witness the ceremony were officers and staffs of RBN Headquarters.
