ADVANCE COOK AND STEWARD SERIES 2018, ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY VISITS MINISTRY OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS, SYARIAH AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT (HALAL FOOD CONTROL DIVISION)
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 19 July 2018 - Advance Cook and Steward 2018 session participants had the opportunity to visit Ministry of Religious Affairs, Department of Syariah Affairs (Halal Food Control Division). The group consists of six (6) participants of the course, five (5) instructors and one (1) officer led by Admin Officer Naval Training Centre, Lieutenant Junior Grade Hajah Umi Kalsum binti Haji Roslan. Present to greet the visit was Head of Halal Food Control Division, Ustaz Ahmad Haziq bin Haji Abdul Hamid.
MILITARY LEGAL UNIT BRIEFING TO THE PETTY OFFICER LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE SERIAL 01/2018
MUARA, Tuesday, 17 July 2018 – As part of the initiative to elevate awareness about the Military Legal Unit (MLU) to our Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel, RBN Naval Training Centre invited Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) MLU to give a briefing to the participants of Petty Officer Leadership and Management Course Serial 01/2018 at the Naval Training Centre, RBN.

MUARA, Saturday, 14 July 2018 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a thanksgiving prayer in commemoration of His Majesty’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam’s 72 Birthday at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy.
11 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICERS PROMOTED
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 13 July 2018 – By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), thirty-seven Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) officers were promoted to the next higher rank in a ceremony that took place at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The thirty-seven RBAF officers includes eleven (11) officers from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
172 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL PROMOTED
MUARA, Friday, 13 July 2018 – A promotion ceremony for the 172 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to the RBN Personnel was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
FAREWELL CALL FROM OUTGOING COMMANDING OFFICER 2ND BATTALION, THE ROYAL GURKHA RIFLES TO RBN COMMANDER
MUARA, Thursday, 12 July 2018 – Lieutenant Colonel Jamie Murray, the outgoing Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles paid a farewell call to the the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad. Accompanying Lieutenant Colonel Jamie Murray to the call was Lieutenant Colonel Dave Pack, the incoming Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles.
