MUARA, Thursday, 12 July 2018 – Lieutenant Colonel Jamie Murray, the outgoing Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles paid a farewell call to the the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad. Accompanying Lieutenant Colonel Jamie Murray to the call was Lieutenant Colonel Dave Pack, the incoming Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles.
During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express his gratitude and appreciation to Lieutenant Colonel Jamie Murray for all the cooperation and support accorded to Royal Brunei Armed Forces during his tenure as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion, the Royal Gurka Rifles (2RGR) especially in supporting towards the betterment of United Kingdom (UK) & Brunei defence relations, which he has held since 2015.
RBN Commander also congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Dave Pack who will be taking up the post and reaffirmed that RBN will always support and work together with 2RGR to further improve Brunei – UK defence engagements.
