MUARA, Saturday, 14 July 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a thanksgiving prayer in commemoration of His Majesty’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam’s 72 Birthday at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy. Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily, Deputy Commander,RBN. In attendance were Senior officers, officers and RBN personnel.
The event commenced with recitation of Surah Al-Mulk (verse 1-11) by Warrant Officer 2 Aliuddin bin Haji Serbini, RBN followed by Mass Maghrib Prayer and Sunat Hajat Prayer. The event continued with recitation of Surah Yassin and Special ‘Doa’ for His Majesty. The thanksgiving prayer event concluded with Mass Isya’ Prayer.
This marks a noteworthy religious event in national annual calendar, that gathers all nation prays for longevity and prosperity of the Monarch Sultan of Brunei Darussalam.
