13 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL PROMOTED
MUARA, Thursday, 9 August 2018 - A promotion ceremony for the 13 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to 13 RBN Personnel was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
EXERCISE HELANG LAUT ACTION SPEED TACTICAL TRAINER (ASTT) 19A/18 ACTIVATED
ASTT PUSLATLEKDALSEN, KODIKLATAL, SURABAYA; Monday, 6 August 2018 – Exercise Helang Laut, a bilateral exercise conducted annually between Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL), has reached its 19th series this year and TNI-AL has been given the honor to host the Exercise in Surabaya.
COMMANDER OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY ATTENDS 12TH ASEAN NAVY CHIEFS’ MEETING
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Saturday, 4 August 2018 – All ten ASEAN Navy Chiefs and their representatives gathered today at the Marina Mandarin Hotel in Singapore for the 12th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting (ANCM). Chaired this year by Rear Admiral Lew Chuen Hong, Chief of Republic of Singapore Navy, the ANCM discussed a wide range of maritime issues and cooperation under the theme of “ASEAN Navies: Strengthening Cooperation, Building Resilience”. Brunei Darussalam was represented by First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.
RBN VISITS TO BRUNEI HISTORY CENTRE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 31 July 2018 - 43 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel including from the Petty Officer Leadership and Management Course conducted a visit to the Brunei History Center. The visit was led by Warrant Officer Mohammad Alimin bin Hj Roslan, RBN, Chief Weapon Engineering Instructor, System & Equipment Training School, Naval Training Centre.
PROMOTION CEREMONY OF 52331 MIDSHIPMAN ADI FAKHRI BIN JOHARI, RBN
MUARA, Wednesday, 1 August 2018 – By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 52331 Midshipman Adi Fakhri bin Johari, RBN was promoted to the rank Substantive Lieutenant Junior Grade that took place at the RBN Officers’ Mess, Muara Naval Base.
DEPUTY CHIEF OF JOINT STAFF OF SOUTHERN COMMAND OF CHINESE ARMED FORCES VISIT RBN
MUARA, Thursday, 31 July 2018 – The Deputy Chief of Joint Staff of Southern Theater Command of the Chinese Armed Forces, Major General Chen Daoxiang and delegations made a visit to Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and made a courtesy call to Acting RBN Commander, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN.
