MUARA, Wednesday, 1 August 2018 – By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 52331 Midshipman Adi Fakhri bin Johari, RBN was promoted to the rank Substantive Lieutenant Junior Grade that took place at the RBN Officers’ Mess, Muara Naval Base.
First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was present at the promotion ceremony to award the new insignia to the officer.
Also present during the ceremony were RBN senior officers, officers, and parents of the promoted officer. 1234 Lieutenant Junior Grade Adi Fakhri bin Johari, RBN commissioned from SAFTI Military Institute July, where he began his Midshipman Course from 2 September 2017 until 17 June 2018.
