THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CONDUCT CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT MOSQUES IN PREPARATION FOR RAMADHAN 1446H

BRUNEI MUARA, Tuesday, 25 FEBRUARY 2025 – In conjunction with the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan 1446H, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted a mosque cleaning campaign within Brunei Muara, reinforcing the values of community service within the RBAF.

The campaign, held on 25 February 2025, saw the participation of RBN personnel, including respective RBN Board of Committee, senior officers, officers, and personnel from each sub-unit of RBN to clean designated mosques across the country. The effort demonstrates RBN’s commitment to engage with the community and fostering a clean and welcoming environment for muslims ahead of Ramadhan.

The six mosques involved in the campaign were Masjid Az-Zakireen in Kg RPN Meragang, which was led by the Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Khairil bin Hj Abdul Rahman along with the Base Deparment, Masjid Kg Perpindahan Serasa under Armada A, Masjid Hassanal Bolkiah in Kg RPN Mentiri under Armada B, Masjid Setia Ali under Naval Training Centre, Masjid Kg Kapok under Support Services Headquarters, and Masjid Pehin Datu Imam Haji Abdul Mokti in Kg Burong Pingai Ayer under RBN Headquarters.

As the Muslim community in Brunei prepares to welcome the blessed month of Ramadhan, RBN remains steadfast to serve both in safeguarding the nation's maritime interests and contributing to social welfare initiatives.
