ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS EDUCATIONAL VISITS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS

Muara Naval Base, Wednesday, 27 November 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted a series of educational visits from 26 to 27 November 2024, welcoming students and teachers from several local schools. Participating institutions included Sekolah Rendah Rimba III (Cluster 3), Sekolah Rendah Muda Hashim Tutong (Cluster 3), Sekolah Ugama Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien, Kuala Belait, and Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Hasan. 

The two-day event began with an official welcome address delivered by Lieutenant Commander Nurul Hairani Binti Abdul Hamid, RBN and Lieutenant Commander Pg Putera Md Amir Osman Bin Pg Matussin, RBN, at the Senior Rank Mess. Following the opening remarks, students and teachers were introduced to various RBN equipment and enjoyed live musical performances by the RBN Band. 

The visitors were given the opportunity to engage with personnel from the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) and Base Defence (BD), who showcased their equipment and allowed the students to experience some of the gear firsthand. The tour also included visiting the Royal Brunei Navy’s ship, KDB AS-SIDDIQ. 
The educational visits concluded with a group photo taken at the Senior Rank Mess and in front of KDB AS-SIDDIQ.
