FIBUA COMPLEX, PENANJONG GARRISON, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES, Thursday, 08 August 2024 - The Closing Ceremony of the Basic Base Defense Course for Officers and Other Ranks Session 1/2024 took place at the FIBUA Complex, Training Institute, Penanjong Garrison, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Present as the guest of honor was Commander Mohammad Nazrin bin Haji Sabli, RBN, Base Commanding Officer, RBN. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and Senior Ranks of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Officers and Senior Ranks from the RBAF Military Police and Recruit Company, TI RBAF to both celebrate the Officers and personnel from their respective units who successfully completed the course.
This course was attended by five (05) male and female Officers and thirty-three (33) Other Ranks. This course aims to reveal the knowledge and lessons of internal security operations which relates to base defense operations such as key point guard, urban patrols, vehicle check point and anti-riot.
It is hoped that the participants of this course will be able to use knowledge and understanding in the defense aspect of this base by applying these skills during operations and their daily routine.
