MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 14 September 2023 - An educational visit from Sekolah Rendah Tentera Laut to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was conducted consisting of sixty-three (63) primary students, and ten (10) teachers.
Their arrival was welcomed by RBN officers and personnel where the programme included visits to the Naval Training Centre (NTC) where Base defence, Operation Maritime school and Technical Maritime School showcased their equipment and allowed the students to try on some of the equipment. Finally, the group participated in a ship tour to KDB AS-SIDDIQ, KDB BERKAT and KDB SYAFAAT where they visited the ships' bridge, forecastle, aft and upper decks.
The visit provided them with the opportunity to discover RBN assets and the personnel who support them. The students and teachers enjoyed the visit and continued interacting with personnel of the RBN before concluding the visit with a group photo in front of the NTC.
