BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 4 August 2021 – Brunei Darussalam's giant-sized national flag that was hoisted on the 1 July has been lowered down, in a ceremony marking the conclusion of His Majesty's 75th Birthday Celebration, in the capital. The lowering of the giant national flag was officiated by Yang Mulia Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
The ceremony was attended by Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Services Commanders.
The giant sized flag was lowered by 20 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Siti Nabillah binti Ramudin, RBN at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex. The entire proceeding was accompanied by the National Anthem,
'Allah Peliharakan Sultan' and the recitation of Doa Selamat to conclude the ceremony.
