​MUARA, Thursday, 10 November 2022 –
The Fleet Headquarters hosted a virtual religious study session for the Royal Brunei Navy Fleet personnel in cooperation with the Religious Department of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) through the Training and Guidance cell on Thursday, 10th November 2022. A total of 44 personnel of the RBN Fleet attended the virtual study session titled “Jamak and Qasar” delivered through Video Teleconference by Major Ariffin bin Amit, Staff Officer Grade 1 Religious Training, JAMA’AT as the guest speaker.

The study session began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah before the start of religious studies led by the guest speaker. The purpose of this religious study session is to guide fleet personnel in understanding the conditions required to be able to perform the
Jamak and
Qasar prayers as a traveler at sea.

The study session ended with a discussion session between JAMA’AT representatives and the participants which enhanced the fleet personnel’s understanding of
Jamak and
Qasar especially when conducting maritime patrol.
