MUARA, Friday, 22 February 2019 – Thanksgiving prayers were held this evening with mass Maghrib and Isyak prayers at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base to mark Brunei Darussalam’s 35th National Day Celebration on the 23rd February 2019.Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Nahl verse 90 – 95 by Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohammad Amirul Shahdani bin Jasni, RBN and Surah Yaasin as well as Mass maghrib, Sunat Hajat, Isyak and thanksgiving prayers led by the Imam of Surau Al-Huda, Imam Faidil Rosemany bin Mohamad.
Similar ceremonies was also simultaneously held in all surau in the Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) Camps.
