MUARA, 14-15 August 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Kindergarten for a study visit. The visit was separated into two groups which was conducted over two days which was on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th August 2018.
On the 14th August 2018, the group consisted of 133 students and staff from Kg 3 Red including YM Pg Anak Abdul Haadee Mubasheer bin Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Badee as well as YM Datin Hajah Zainab binti Haji Abdul Wahab. Whilst on the 15th August 2018, the group consisted of 95 students and staff from Kg 3 Orange.
The tour began with a short brief on RBN’s the roles, missions and assets which was held at the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC) next to the Naval Training Center. The group was welcomed by Lieutenant Dk Lyadia Ulandari binti Pg Hj Muhamad, RBN.
The group also had the opportunity to tour KDB DARUTTAQWA, and was welcomed by the Commanding Officer KDB DARUTTAQWA, Commander Rasman bin Puteh, RBN. The students and staff were delegated into smaller groups and were given the liberty to tour the ship which included Rigid Inflatable Craft (RIC) deck, Foxcle, Sickbay and Bridge. At the end of the stuy visit, the groups were given light refeshments at the ship’s Ratings Mess.
Also included in the tour was a group photo session taken at the Flight Deck with the ship personnel, students and teachers.
