MUARA, Monday, 11 March 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the Opening Ceremony of Tarawih Prayer, Witir, and Tadarus Al-Quran to mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadhan 1445H at Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the Acting Commander of RBN. Also present were the RBN senior officers, officers and personnel.
The ceremony began with the Mass Fardhu Isya’ Prayer led by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda RBN. The event was followed by Terawih and Witir Prayers led by two appointed imams by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, namely Ak Muhd Fadhlin Wajihuddin Bin Pg Muhd Sallehin and Muhammad Abdul Qawi @ Muhammad Syazwan Bin Shamrin, in turns.
Following the prayers, a mass recitation of the Al-Quran took place. The ceremony ended with the recitation of ‘Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam’.
