MUARA, Friday, 14 August 2020 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has held a Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil reading ceremony as well as the presentation of donations to RBN officers and personnel whose family members have passed away. Present as the guest of honor is First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance during the ceremony were senior officers, officers and other ranks.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and the recitation of Surah An-Nisa Verses 80 to 86, followed by the recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil, and presentation of donations by the guest of honor. The ceremony concluded with Dhuha prayers and a recitation of Surah Al-Asr’.
