Tutong, Friday, 14 June 2024 - Chief Petty Officer Karono bin Jatin from the Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy, along with his family, embraced Islam as their new way of life by reciting the Syahadah at their residence in Kampung Bukit Udal, Tutong.
The ceremony was attended by Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) to welcome the new Muslim family. Also present were the Naval Executive Board members, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT), officers, personnel from the RBN, and family members.
