Muara, Wednesday, 22 November 2023 -The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted the 2nd Navy-to-Navy Talks (NTNT) with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) at the Naval Training Centre. The conference was a platform to foster collaboration and explore capacity-building avenues between the two navies.
The conference was Co-Chaired by Commander Azrin bin Hj Mahmud, RBN, Chief of Staff, with Captain Etienne Mulder, RAN, Director of Navy International Engagement.
The discussion encompasses a range of mutually beneficial areas, including opportunities for joint exercises, training programs, and courses. Both parties strongly desired to strengthen their existing cooperation further and enhance maritime security in the region.
The next iteration of the NTNT will be held in Australia in 2025, continuing the ongoing dialogue and fostering a lasting partnership between the RBN and RAN.
