MUARA, Wednesday, 29 July 2020 – Royal Brunei Navy hosted a farewell lunch for the outgoing Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh.
First stop during the visit was a congregational Zohor prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
A curry lunch was organized in conjunction to his farewell visit at the Officer’s Mess. The event commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa Selamat. At the end of the Curry Lunch, a speech was given by Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, followed by a speech from the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force. Both speeches entailed a heartfelt reflection of their friendship and good relations forged throughout their professional careers. The event concluded with a group photo session and a memento exchange.
