MUARA, Monday, 26 September 2022 – To commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), express gratitude and love for the prophet as well as to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening of Dikir Maulud 1444 Hijrah. The event was conducted simultaneously across all RBAF Suraus and Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.
Present at the event was Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Deputy Commander RBN. Also present were the RBN Executive Board, officers, and ratings of the RBN.
The event began with Fardhu Maghrib prayers, followed by a Tazkirah, Dikir Syarifil Anam, Fardhu Isyak prayers and ended with Dikir Marhaban. As normally practiced, the event will be held for twelve (12) consecutive nights across all RBAF Suraus.
