MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 21 February 2023 – To commemorate the Event of Isra’ and Mi’raj, religious ceremonies were held concurrently across all Garrisons and RBAF Camps. Present for the ceremony at the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was Captain Khairil bin Hj Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander RBN. Also present were RBN Senior Officers, Officers and ratings.
The Ceremony commenced with the collective recitation of the holy verses of Al-Quran, Surah Al-Isra’ verses 13 to 19, Ordinary Rate Md Asyri bin Abdul Ghapar. Following that was a special lecture delivered by Ustaz Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapa, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da’wah Centre, Negara Brunei Darussalam which was then followed by the Asar prayer lead by Imam surau Al-Huda.
The ceremony aims to provide awareness, admonition and appreciation of the importance of Solat in line with the theme of the lecture “Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian: Sembahyang Meraih Redha Allah”. Also elaborated in the lecture is the story of the migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW and His sacrifice leading to the elevation of Nabi Muhammad SAW by Allah SWT in Sidratul Muntaha
