BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, 22 DECEMBER 2021 – Amid the COVID-19 Transition Phase and reopening of mosques to the public, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has continued to conduct cleaning campaigns at mosques across all four districts this week as part of its community outreach activities in conjunction with RBAF’s Diamond Jubilee. Today,
the Royal Brunei Navy conducted the cleaning campaign at Kampong Mentiri mosque and Hassanal Bolkiah Mentiri mosque.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-fatihah, followed by the recitation of Doa Menghindari dari Wabak Penyakit. A total of forty (40) RBN personnel were involved for both mosque in the Cleaning in accordance with SOPs and guidelines provided by The Ministry of Health. The event ended with group photo session.

The activities were also participated by mosque committees and were in accordance to the COVID-19 transition phase guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.

The RBAF plans to undertake more cleaning campaigns this month. Apart from providing support with the reopening of mosques, it also aims to maintain good relationships between the RBAF and the community in promoting cleanliness, especially in places of worship as demanded in Islam.
