BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 2 April 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted the ‘Jangkauan Ramadhan‘ outreach programme to the Sungai Bunga Mosque this evening.
Present to lead the RBN delegation was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander RBN. The RBN delegation also consisted of members of the RBN Executive Board, Senior Officers, Officers and Ratings of the RBN Headquarters and Naval Inspectorate Cell
The function began with the recitation of Tahlil and Yassin followed by the presentation of donations to the orphans residing in Kg. Sungai Bunga and to the Sungai Bunga Mosque Fund. This was followed with the break of fast and mass Maghrib Prayers before Iftar meals with the residents of Kg. Sungai Bunga present at the function. The function continued with Mass Isyak prayers, Tarawih, Witir and the recital of the Holy Al-Quran.
The function was held to enliven and intensify acts of worship and religious activities throughout the month of Ramadhan.
