MUARA, Tuesday, 21 August 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held recitations of the takbir of Eid Al-Adha at Surau Al-Huda, RBN in conjunction with the start of Eid Al-Adha. The event commenced the mass Isya’ prayer followed by the recitation of the takbir of Eid to praise the greatness of Allah S.W.T.
The mass Eid al-Adha prayer was also held on the next day, on Wednesday, 22 August 2018 at Surau Al-Huda, RBN. A sermon was delivered by the Imam of Surau Al-Huda, Imam Hj Mohd Anddy bin Hj Saile, which the sermon focused on good deeds to parents and noble sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim AS and Prophet Ismail AS.
Both of the event was attended by Deputy Commander RBN, Captain Haji Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, RBN, senior officers, officers, personnel and civilian in the RBN. As a sign of gratitude to Allah (SWT), the recitation of the takbir commenced from the 10th day of Zulhijjah and ends after Tasyriq, the 13th day of Zulhijjah.
