Monday, 22 January 2024 - The Acting commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin received a farewell call from Colonel Angelo Gerard P. Ariles, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to Brunei Darussalam.
During the meeting, both officials reflected on key milestones and joint activities that have shaped the naval cooperation between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Philippine Navy. These include joint naval exercises, personnel exchanges, and strategic dialogues, contributing significantly to regional maritime security and stability.
The farewell call concluded with exchanging mementoes, symbolising the enduring friendship and mutual respect between the two forces. Captain Sarif Pudin wished Colonel Angelo Gerard P. Ariles success in his future endeavours and reaffirmed the RBN’s commitment to sustaining a robust relationship with the Philippine Navy.
