MUARA, Thursday, 5 March 2020 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today received foreign study visit from the 49th Pakistan Navy Staff Course. The group consist of 23 course participants, 5 foreign participants from China, Maldives, Sudan and Sri Lanka. During the visit, Commander Sony Iskandar bin Rasani, Chief of Staff Royal Brunei Navy welcomed the head of delegation, Commodore Masood Ul Hassan, Commandant Pakistan Navy Cadet College.
The visit started with a courtesy call by the head of delegation with Commander Navy. During the call, both sides exchanged proposal to further strengthen naval ties in the field of training engagement. The commander navy applaud the PN War College for their excellent progression noting on the unveiling of their first Maritime doctrine and credits the PN War college for producing RBN officers who are now holding high position in RBN
The visit then continue with a brief presentation on the overview of RBN organizational structure and roles delivered by the Assistant Chief of Staff Communication and a brief tour around the Naval Training Centre. Subsequently, the course participants then proceeded to have a tour onboard KDB DARULAMAN and Muara Maritime Services before proceeding for curry lunch which conclude the visit to RBN.
