MUARA, Saturday, 31 August 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Maal Hijrah Ceremony to commemorate with The New Islamic Year 1441 at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Pengiran Mohamad bin Pengiran Haji Damit, RBN, the Deputy Commander of RBN. Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and personnel.
The Maal Hijrah ceremony began with the End of Islamic year 1440 followed by a mass Maghrib prayer. The ceremony continued with New Islamic Year 1441 Doa recitation, the recitations of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil before it was concluded with the mass Isyak prayer.
