MUARA, 18 March 2021 – First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from His Excellency Ajaneesh Kumar, the High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam this morning at Bilik Pahlawan, RBN Headquarters.
During the call, both sides expressed pleasure for at the long-standing friendship of both countries and navies that have continually flourished through various avenues of interaction such as ADMM Plus and Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS), amongst others. Both sides also expressed interest in further strengthening bilateral ties in the future, such as through courses and training, and port visits.
Diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and India has been established since May 1984.
