– First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, RBN, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a farewell call from Colonel David Hay, Defence Adviser of Australia accredited to Brunei Darussalam this afternoon. Acompanying Colonel David Hay, was Captain Richard Anthony Caton, RAN, the incoming Australian Defence Adviser.
During the call, the Commander of RBN expressed his appreciation to Colonel David Hay for the good working relationship during his tenure in Brunei Darussalam. They also talked about the importance of Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and RBN relationship which has extended more than just between the two navies but also for both countries. Both navies interact regularly in various platforms through professional exchanges and exercises.
The Commander of RBN wished Colonel David Hay all the best for his future endeavours. Colonel David Hay served as the Defence Adviser of Australia accredited to Brunei Darussalam since 9 December 2015.
