MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 09 February 2024 – Marking the holy event of Isra’ and Mi’raj, special religious ceremonies were held simultaneously across all Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons and camps. Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), was present at Surau Al-Huda, joined by RBN senior officers, officers, and ratings.
After the Fajr prayer, the program began with reciting verses 1-7 from Surah Al-Isra’. This was followed by a special talk titled “Sembahyang Tiang Agama” (Prayer, the Pillar of Religion) delivered by Ustaz Haji Awang Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang, Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The lecture explored Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) journey, culminating in his ascent to Sidratul Muntaha.
The event concluded with Sunat Dhuha prayers, the recitation of the “Peliharakan Negara dan Sultan” prayer, and “Selawat Qiam”.
