MUARA, Thursday 10 October 2019 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a lunch event for all 26 retired Regiment Sergeant Majors (RSMs) from all units of RBAF in conjunction with RBAF’s 58th Anniversary held at the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ and Petty Officers’ Mess.
The event began with a group photo and a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with opening remarks by Warrant Officer 1, Awg Rashid bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Force Sergeant Major (FSM) RBAF. He highlighted that this event must be continued by all mess committees throughout the RBAF in order to gain and share experiences and knowledge from the retired RSMs.
The event concluded with a presentation of tokens of appreciation to all current and retired RSM’s from all units of the RBAF. This event was held to honour the devotion, sacrifice and contribution of all the retired RSM’s throughout their service with the RBAF.
