MUARA, Friday, 22 November 2019 – Qualifying Coxswain Course Series 01/2019 Closing Ceremony was held at Naval Training Center (NTC) Muara.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Liutenant Commander Hj Mohd Arnold bin Hj Osman, RBN Officer Commanding Support Squardron. Also present during closing ceremony were RBN officers, senior ranks and course instructors. The ceremony started with Al-Fatihah recital and opening remarks by Petty Officer (PO) Eddy Soffian bin Abd Rahman who shares his experiences and reflections on behalf of the course participants. The ceremony then followed by certificate presentations by the Guest of Honour to all participants. The best overall award was presented to PO Pg Md Zulfadli Bin Pg Jamadil, RBN. The closing ceremony was concluded with a closing doa recital by PO Abd Rahman bin Hj Manan and group photo session.
13 participants attended The Qualifying Coxswain Course Series 01/2019 which began from 23 October 2019 until 22 November 2019.The aim of the course is to produce senior ranks with the ability to conduct ship handling and to qualify them as Chief Bosun Mate.
