MUARA, Thursday, 17 September 2020 – A promotion ceremony for 25 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) of the Royal Brunei Navy was held at the Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ and Petty Officers’ Mess, RBN. Of the 25 personnel, 2 promoted to Acting Warrant Officer 1, 1 promoted to Acting Warrant Officer 2, 10 personnel promoted to Sub Warrant Officer 2, 5 personnel promoted to Sub Chief Petty Officer and 7 promoted to Acting Chief Petty Officer.
Present as Guest of Honour of the ceremony was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy who presented the rank insignias. Also present were senior officers, officers, Senior NCOS of the Royal Brunei Navy.
The Ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of insignias by the Guest of Honour and concluded with a recital of prayer and a group photo session.
