MUARA, Friday, 28 September 2018 – The Senior Rates Mess, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted a 3-day event of the Acting Petty Officer orientation session 01/2018 on 26 till 28 September 2018.
Present as Guest of Honor was 11323 WO1 Pengiran Mohammad Soffian bin Pengiran Haji Metussin, RBN Sergeant Major. Also present were Acting President of Mes, PMC Mes, DPMC Mes, PEC Mes, Floor Manager Mes and members of Senior Rates Mess.
The 01/2018 series was attended by a total of 21 newly-promoted Acting Petty Officers. During the event, all the participants were briefed on the RBN organisation, military rules and regulations, makan beradat, salaries issue, military mailing procedure and mess rules.
The event was the first to be held this year, which has provided a useful knowledge to the newly promoted personnel. The ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates to all the participants by the Guest of Honor.
