MUARA, Tuesday, 24 July 2018 – The Handing Over Ceremony for the Muara Naval Base Seawall was held at the Muara Naval Base Parade Square. The project which was completed on 21 March 2018 since 8 January 2015 was constructed by Syarikat Nor Awan Sdn. Bhd with the length of 460 meters.
Present as the Guest of Honor was the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily.
During the event, the mock key was handed over from the main contractor, Haji Musa bin Pengarah Hj Jair to Hanafi Konsaltan, represented by Dk Hjh Suziah binti Pg Abdul Hamid then passed to the Director of Development and Work Services, Hajah Marliyana binti Haji Abdullah Fung and finally to the Deputy Commander of RBN.
A Doa Selamat was recited by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin bin Haji Md Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN to bless the ceremony. The final agenda for the event was a tour to the reconstructed facility, which was led by the contractor.
