CLOSING CEREMONY KAKADU 2018

GOVERNMENT HOUSE, DARWIN; Thursday, 13 September 2018 - After two weeks of intensive realistic and challenging engagements from the air and the sea, Australia’s largest maritime exercise has finally ended. A total of 23 ships, 21 aircraft, a submarine and 3000 personnel from 27 visiting nations have participated in this year’s Exercise.

MUARA, Wednesday, 11 September 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) had received a two-day visit from the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) with an aim to familiarize key senior leaders within the RAN Offshore Patrol Vessel Project with the Patrol Vessel 80 (PV80) platform and seek to share understanding of the maintenance, sustainment and logistic challenges the RBN face with this capability.

RBN CELEBRATES NEW ISLAMIC YEAR 1440H

MUARA, Monday, 10 September 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a ceremony to commemorate the new Islamic Year 1440 Hijrah at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present as the Guest of Honour was Commander Hadi Syarifuddin bin Hj Muhd Hassanal Mega, RBN, Head of Inspectorate Cell. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and RBN enlisted personnel.

CLOSING CEREMONY OF ABLE RATE LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE SERIAL 03/2018

MUARA, Friday, 7 September 2018 -The closing ceremony and certificates presentation for the Able Rate Leadership and Management Course Serial 03/2018 was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC). Attending the event as the Guest of Honour was Second in Command Maritime Technical School, Lieutenant Hidayatul Zabidah binti Haji Dayang, RBN. A total of 29 participants attended the course which ended on 07 September 2018.
