THE SECOND MINISTER OF DEFENCE CONDUCTS WORKING VISIT TO ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Thursday, 11 April 2019 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi Bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Second Minister of Defence conducted his working visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) at the Muara Naval Base.
CLOSING CEREMONY SECOND INTAKE BASIC BASE DEFENCE COURSE – COMMANDING OFFICER BASE (COB) OBSTACLE CHALLENGE
MUARA, Thursday 11 April 2019 - The closing ceremony for the Second Intake Basic Base Defence Course was held at the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Mini Stadium, Muara Naval Base. Prior to the closing ceremony, the Commanding Officer Base (COB) Obstacle Challenge was conducted as the penultimate event of the Second Intake Basic Base Defence Course and acts as a replacement to Exercise Perwira. Its main purpose is to test not only the physical ability of the personnel, but as also the mental capabilities especially in delegating, exposure in tasking, teamwork and responsibilities in going through all the obstacle provided.
COMMANDER RBN RECEIVED COURTESY CALL BY VLADEN STANISLAVOVICH SEMIVOLOS
MUARA, Tuesday, 9 April 2019 – The Ambassador of The Russian Federation accredited to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Vladen Stanislavovich Semivolos paid a farewell courtesy call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.
RBN RECEIVES KDB DARUTTAQWA AFTER A LONG DEPLOYMENT
MUARA, Friday, 5 April 2019 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received the homecoming of KDB DARUTTAQWA after a month long deployment participating in Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition 2019 and a goodwill visit to Thilawa Port, Myanmar. Present to welcome back the ship’s company was Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN. Also present to receive KDB DARUTTAQWA were senior officers, officers and RBN personnel, as well as families of those on deployment.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVES GOODWILL VISIT FROM ROKS DAE JO YONG
MUARA, Friday, 5 April 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of ROKS DAE JO YONG, Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) on 05 April 2019, that is currently visiting Brunei Darussalam until 07 march 2019.
