RBN HELD MAAL HIJRAH 1441 CEREMONY AT SURAU AL HUDA, RBN
MUARA, Saturday, 31 August 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Maal Hijrah Ceremony to commemorate with The New Islamic Year 1441 at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Pengiran Mohamad bin Pengiran Haji Damit, RBN, the Deputy Commander of RBN. Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and personnel.
KDB DARULAMAN PARTICIPATED IN SEACAT 2019 EXERCISE
BRUNEI, Saturday, 31 August 2019 - KDB DARULAMAN set sail on Thursday, 29 August 2019, to participate in a boarding operation scenario in conjunction with the 18th Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) Exercise on Saturday, 31 August 2019.
DEPUTY COMMANDER RAN WORKING VISIT TO RBN
MUARA, Thursday, 29 August 2019 – The Deputy Commander of Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Rear Admiral Mark Hammond made a working visit to Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and paid a courtesy call to First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, the Commander of RBN. Rear Admiral Mark Hammond was accompanied by Her Excellency Ms Nicola Rosemblum, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam and Captain Richard Caton, Australian Defence Advisor to Singapore and Brunei.
KDB DARULAMAN DEPARTS FOR EXERCISES SEACAT AND AUMX
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday 29th August 2019 - KDB DARULAMAN set sail this morning to participate in the two multilateral exercises namely, Southeast Asian Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) and ASEAN-US Maritime Exercise (AUMX). Exercise SEACAT will be held on Friday, 30th August 2019 in Brunei waters whereas AUMX will be held from 2 – 5 September 2019 in the Gulf of Thailand.
CLOSING CEREMONY ADVANCE ABOVE WATER TACTICAL & ABOVE WATER WARFARE
MUARA, Friday 23 August 2019 – Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony was held simultaneously at Nakhoda hall, Naval Traning Centre (NTC), RBN which marks the end of Advance Above Water Tactical Course (AWT) and Advance Above Water Warfare Course (AWW). Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, Commanding Officer KDB SYAFAAT along with other invited guests consisting of the respective course participants’ Head of Departments.
CLOSING CEREMONY ABLE RATE LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT COURSE
MUARA, Friday 23 August 2019 – Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the second series of the Able Rate Leadership and Management Course in 2019 was held at Nakhoda hall, Naval Traning Centre (NTC), RBN. Gracing the event as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, Commanding Officer KDB SYAFAAT along with other invited guests from the respective course participants’ Head of Departments.
