MUARA, Friday 23 August 2019 – Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the second series of the Able Rate Leadership and Management Course in 2019 was held at Nakhoda hall, Naval Traning Centre (NTC), RBN. Gracing the event as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, Commanding Officer KDB SYAFAAT along with other invited guests from the respective course participants’ Head of Departments.
The Able Rate Leadership and Management Course which was attended by 30 Acting Able Rates, began on Friday, 02 August 2019 and conducted by the Leadership and Management Department, Naval Training Centre. This course serves as an initial stepping stone for the acting Able Rates, exposing them to early stages of leadership which should be nutured and futher developed as they progress further in their career. They have also been thaught the values of teamwork and commoradarie or rather its importance, particualry when organising, or managing for a particular event.
As a measure of gratitude, 50476 Able Rate Mohd Amir Ihsanuddin bin Mohd Yusof Zaki, speaking on behalf of the course participants, highlighted the important values and lessons thaught throughout the 3 weeks, which was primarily focused on developing their character and discipline at this early stage of their career.
The closing ceremony was blessed with the recital of doa by 50946 Able Rate Muhd Abdul Farid bin Hj Sofri and a group photo session with the Guest of Honour and Instructors.
