ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS KHATAM AL-QUR’AN EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 57TH ANNIVERSARY
MUARA, Friday, 10 June 2022 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Navy’s 57th Anniversary, a Khatam Al-Quran event was held at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval base. In attendance were First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander RBN, along with members of the RBN Executive Board, officers and sailors of the RBN.
SURAH YASSIN AND TAHLIL RECITATION AT THE ROYAL MAUSOLEUM IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 57TH ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday 9 June 2022 – A recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil ceremony for the departed members of the royal family; Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah. The event was held this morning by Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction to the Royal Brunei Navy 57th Anniversary.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY (RBN) PARTICIPATED IN THE WESTERN PACIFIC NAVAL SYMPOSIUM WORKSHOP 2022
Yokohama, Japan, Wednesday, 08 June 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) workshop 2022 which was hosted by the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) with the theme of “Free and Open Ocean for the Next Generation”. The event was held at the Yokohama Park Royal Hotel in Yokohama, Tokyo Japan from Wednesday 08 June 2022 until Saturday 11 June 2022. Representing the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were Commander Malek Fadillah bin Hj Kefli, Commanding Officer KDB DARUTTAQWA and Lieutenant Commander Abu Qusyairi bin Haji Yacob, Staff Officer 2 Security RBN.
DISTRIBUTION OF DONATIONS TO FORMER RBN MEMBERS IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBN’S 57TH ANNIVERSARY
BRUNEI, Tuesday, 7 June 2022 – In conjunction with RBN’s 57th Anniversary, a distribution of donations to former RBN members in need was conducted for the first time. The donations consisted of monetary donations and daily necessities which were distributed by members of the RBN Executive Board where 5 former RBN members and their families received these donations at their respective residences.
CONFERMENT OF STATE HONORARY MEDALS
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 06 June 2022 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan And Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has conferred State Honorary Medals for the years 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 to Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel in conjunction with His Majesty The Sultan And Yang Di-Pertuan Of Brunei Darussalam’s Birthday Celebration. The Conferment Ceremony was held at the Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.
