BRUNEI, Tuesday, 7 June 2022 –
In conjunction with RBN’s 57th Anniversary, a distribution of donations to former RBN members in need was conducted for the first time. The donations consisted of monetary donations and daily necessities which were distributed by members of the RBN Executive Board where 5 former RBN members and their families received these donations at their respective residences.
This inaugural event was chaired by Warrant Officer 2 Haji Mohammad Amirrul Hashim bin Haji Abdullah and represented part of RBN’s community outreach programme in conjunction with RBN’s 57th Anniversary. This event was also to instill a culture of charity, helping one another, as well as shouldering the responsibility to care for former RBN members. Moreover, this event was a way to appreciate former RBN members and commemorate their sacrifices towards the success of RBN leading to its 57th Anniversary.
