TUNGKU, Wednesday, 03 April 2024 – A total of 38 members, including an officer from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), conducted an educational visit to the Narcotics Control Bureau in Kampong Tungku, Gadong. The visit was organized by the Naval Training School (NTS) as a component of the Induction Course for the 172nd male intake and the 58th female intake. The main objective of this visit was to foster awareness and enhance sustainable discipline among the RBN personnel, particularly the newly recruited personnel, regarding drug-related matters and the methods employed in drug distribution. This visit was chaired by Petty Officer Mohammad Anuaruddin bin Jamadul Azin, Instructor of Leadership & Management NTS, RBN.

Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by Muhd Redzuan bin Abdullah, Senior Narcotics Officer at the Narcotics Control Bureau. The visit commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a comprehensive presentation on various drugs seized within Brunei Darussalam. Subsequently, the delegation was briefed on the laws governing drug offences and the punishment for drug abusers.

The visit concluded with a tour of the gallery and the presentation of a token of gratitude to the Senior Narcotics Officer, Narcotics Control Bureau, by Lieutenant Junior Grade Mirza bin Abdullah, RBN, Second-in-Command of the Maritime Operations School. The visit ended with a group photo to commemorate the occasion.​
