SERASA, Friday, 01 March 2024 – The Naval Training Centre (NTC) conducted a cleaning campaign at Serasa Beach, organised by participants of the Advanced Marine Engineering and Weapon Engineering M1 Career Course. Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Mohamad Amirul Azwan bin Hj Dullah, RBN, Assistant Commanding Officer Sea Training Development.
This cleaning campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness at our beaches and the environment, particularly among Bruneian residents.
The campaign began with a safety briefing led by Leading Hand Muhammad Nur Adli bin Hj Aspawi, RBN.
A total of 126 individuals participated in the cleaning campaign, including officers, instructors, NTC staff and course participants.
A total of 113.5 kilograms of garbage were collected during the campaign.
