Muara, Friday, 10th November 2023 – On a momentous occasion marked by gratitude and accomplishment, participants of the Naval Engineering Officer Course, along with graduates of the Advance Marine and Weapon Engineering Career Course M1, Intermediate Marine and Weapon Mechanic Course M2, and Basic General Mechanic Course M3, gathered to commemorate their Closing Ceremony. Present as the Guest of Honour was Commander Mohammad Nazrin bin Haji Sabli, RBN, Commanding Officer Base, RBN.
The event allowed these aspiring engineers to express their appreciation to the dedicated instructors, Maritime Technical School, and System Equipment Technical School Staff, who played a pivotal role in their educational journey. The participants acknowledged the unwavering support and motivation throughout the course, expressing gratitude for the instructors’ patience and commitment.
Emphasizing the significance of the training, participants highlighted the acquisition of technical knowledge essential for their roles in naval engineering. From understanding complex systems onboard ships to ensuring safety protocols, the courses equipped them with the skills necessary to fulfil their duties in their respective departments.
As the Closing Ceremony concluded, participants embraced the idea that, while the course may have ended, it signifies the commencement of a new chapter in their professional endeavours. The participants look forward to significantly contributing to the Royal Navy and achieving further successes in their ongoing journey with RBN.
