MUARA, Monday, 26 October 2020 – Five Leading Hand divers from the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) attending the Naval Diving Course-Advance (NDC-Advance) ended today with the closing ceremony held at the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC).
Attending as the Guest of Honour to present the certificate was Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander of RBN. Also in attendance were the Fleet Chief of Staff, the Commanding Officer Naval Training, NTC officers and instructors.
The NDC-Advance course is the first in-house training course designed for 3 weeks under the management of the NAVSAG Training School (NAVSAG TS) starting from 02 October 2020 until 23 October 2020.
This course is a mandatory for NAVSAG personnel for their next promotion to rank Petty Officer. Other than that it exposed trainees with deep diving fundamentals lesson inclusive of diving supervisory role thus to enhance their practical command and control. Additionally, the course participants are thought to solve any emergency scenarios during deep dives operation as well as roles of leading the VBSS boarding.
The ceremony ends with a closing prayer and a group photo session.
