MUARA, Tuesday, 04 December 2018 – The Chief of Malaysian Armed Forces, Yang Berbahagia General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Zainal Abidin and delegation visited Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) as part of his three-day visit to Negara Brunei Darussalam.Upon arrival, Yang Berbahagia Chief of Defence Force of Malaysia was received by Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad at Jetty Bravo, Muara Naval Base.
During the visit, Yang Berbahagia was taken for a tour of KDB DARULAMAN and Yang Berbahagia was briefed on the RBN organisation and the ship’s capabilities. The Commander of RBN and Yang Berbahagia expressed in enhancing of RBN and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) interaction, where both navies interact regularly through bilateral and multilateral exercises, professional exchanges, and courses, which has enhanced the professionalism and interoperability of both navies.
The visit concluded with the signing of parchment and memento presentation before leaving the Muara Naval Base.
