MUARA, Friday, 08 March 2024 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Senior Rates held a Majlis Tahlil for Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ & Petty Officers’ Mess Committee in conjunction with the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadhan at the RBN Senior Rates’ Mess.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Naval Sergeant Major WO1 Irwan bin Haji Bungsu, RBN. Also present during the event were the Fleet Sergeant Major, the President of the Mess Committee, Warrant Officers’ and other RBN Senior Rates.
The event began with a group photo with the Guest of Honour, followed by a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, a recitation of Tahlil, and Doa Kesyukuran led by Petty Officer Mohammad Sabar bin Ibrahim, RBN.
The event continued with a speech from the Guest of Honour, where he highlighted the importance of RBN Senior Rates’ coming together, encouraging them to maintain good relationships, enhance spiritual growth and always instil Taqwa, especially during this upcoming Ramadhan.
The event concluded with a presentation of a gift to former RBN Senior Rates’ Mess Manager Julaihi bin Kamis, followed by Morning Coffee.
