​Malaysian Waters, Wednesday, 16 November 2022 – A
Majlis Doa Kesyukuran and
Doa Selamat was held onboard KDB DARULEHSAN whilst positioned at 30 Nautical Miles Northeast of Maharajalela Oilfield prior to returning home to Brunei Waters. The event was conducted to commemorate KDB DARULEHSAN’s safe voyage on their inaugural long deployment to Yokosuka, Japan and successful participation in the International Fleet Review 2022 Japan.

Present for the event were the Commanding Officer of KDB DARULEHSAN, Commander Saiful Hazril bin Ali, RBN, officers and sailors of KDB DARULEHSAN. The event commenced with a recitation of
Surah Al-Anfal led by Petty Officer Hj Arif bin Hj Abas, RBN attachment from Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG). The event then concluded with
Doa Selamat and
Doa Kesyukuran led by the attached Religious Officer from the Religious Department of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT), Captain Abd Mu’iz Azizi bin Zulkifli.

The event was organized to appreciate all officers and sailors that contributed towards this achievement and to be grateful to the Almighty Allah S.W.T. for the safe journey throughout the voyage.
