BERAKAS, Friday, 02 September 2022 – To celebrate the 12th anniversary of KDB SYAFAAT which has been commissioned on 28th August 2010, the officers and crews have organized a social outing at Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park. Present during the event was the Commanding Officer of KDB SYAFAAT, Lieutenant Commander Nazurah binti Haji Mahaleh, RBN.
The joyous event, organized by Chief Petty Officer Eddy Soffian bin A.Rahman, began with the recital of Al-Fatihah led by Able Rate Shaikh Hj Muhd Nasrul Naim bin Shaikh Hj Ahmad. The first affair of the celebration was the Tug of War competition between the different departments where the Marine Engineering Department emerged as the champion of the day after a tight match against the Officers team.
The event was highlighted with a cake cutting ceremony and the prize presentation for the Tug-of-war winners. The event concluded with a gift exchange session and the recital of Doa Selamat.
The time spent together was a great opportunity for the officers and crew of KDB SYAFAAT to create a stronger bond amongst themselves as teamwork and interpersonal relationship are key components in producing highly efficient and supportive workforce.
