MUARA ​NAVAL BASE, Monday, 25th September 2023 – KDB DARULEHSAN has safely returned to Muara Naval Base from Natuna Island, Republic of Indonesia after participating in the inaugural ASEAN Joint military exercise – ASEAN Solidarity Exercise – 01 Natuna (ASEX-01N) 2023.  Present to receive KDB DARULEHSAN was Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN, Fleet Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) along with Senior officers, officers and ratings of the RBN as well as the family members of the deployed personnel.

 

Sujud Syukur was performed by the officers and crew of the ship at the RBN Jetty as gratitude and praise to Allah SWT for their safe return. The ceremony then continued with the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran recited by Uztaz Sabqi bin Nasar, RBN’s Religious teacher.

 

The Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ participation in ASEX-01N through the Royal Brunei Navy has contributed to confidence building and further enabled collaboration, enhanced understanding and improved relations between all ASEAN member states’ militaries to promote peace and stability.
